What We Believe
We do not believe that you have to adhere to the same beliefs in order to publish with us. However, we understand that some may have hesitations to publish with us without knowing our convictions. Because of that, we have included a basic outline of our beliefs below. As a general rule, we adhere to what would be described as Evangelical beliefs.
The Bible
We believe that Jesus Christ died for the sins of the ungodly, and through putting faith in Him we may have eternal life. We believe the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit are One and are equal. We believe the Bible the be the inspired Word of God, inerrant in nature, alive in the Spirit, and vital to the Christian life.
The Believer
We believe that it is not by works but by faith that we are saved. However, we also believe that, as James describes, as we grow closer to the Lord works pour out of our passion for Him. We believe in baptism, but we do not believe that baptism is required to enter the gates of Heaven. We believe the life of a Christian is a life of total surrender to Christ.
The Body
We believe that the Church is both local and global. We believe that Christians are stronger in unity, including across denominational divides, and we ought to show the love of Christ to all. We believe in the Great Commission, and are convicted that we ought to be telling others about the safety and salvation found in Jesus.
We admit that Christianity and varying beliefs therein are complex and can feel convoluded. This does not cover every single one of our beliefs, nor do we aim to divide by sharing them. We simply want you to make a fully informed decision as you seek out who you’d like to share your written works with, and through whom you’d like to publish.
